Resumen

El aneurisma aórtico infeccioso es una condición potencialmente mortal, con una mortalidad que varía entre 20 y 50 %. Se describe el caso de un hombre 60 años, con antecedente cardiopatía isquémica tratada de manera endovascular en el 2004. Se realiza diagnóstico de aneurisma aórtico infrarrenal infeccioso secundario a bacteremia por Salmonella group. Se realiza abordaje quirúrgico abierto con sustitución de aorta con aloinjerto criopreservado.

Abstract

Infectious aortic aneurysm is a life-threatening condition, with mortality ranging from 20 to 50%. The case of a 60-year-old man with endovascularly treated ischemic heart disease in 2004. Diagnosis of infectious infrarenal aortic aneurysm secondary to bacteremia of Salmonella group. Open surgical approach is performed with aortic replacement with cryopreserved allografi.
